We’re thrilled to share that Aiode has been selected as one of the standout innovative startups in TheMarker’s annual list for 2025. This prestigious recognition highlights companies pushing the boundaries of technology to create meaningful change, and Aiode’s inclusion underscores our unique approach to AI in music production, one that empowers creators and musicians rather than replacing them. Published on August 5, 2025, the feature celebrates Aiode’s commitment to ethical innovation, collaborative tools, and a revenue-sharing model that puts artists first.
Founded in 2022 by cousins Idan Dobrecki (CEO) and Blue Dobrecky, Aiode emerged from a family steeped in musical heritage. Blue’s father, Gilad Dobrecky, a 2 time Grammy Award winning percussionist who has worked on huge projects like Beyonce’s first album, Hunger Games and many others, instilled a profound respect for the art form. Blue, an experienced music producer, and Idan, a lawyer by training who enjoys playing piano as a hobby, conceived Aiode during a conversation about streamlining high-quality song production. What began as an idea to blend traditional artistry with digital efficiency has grown into a platform revolutionizing how music is made.
What sets Aiode apart, and a primary reason for our selection in TheMarker’s list, is Aiode’s focus on human-AI collaboration and it’s groundbreaking approach. In a landscape where AI tools are often criticized for automating creativity at the expense of artists, Aiode takes a different path. We create virtual representations of professional musicians using advanced AI, sampling their unique styles to generate models that producers can work with, creating STEMs they can integrate into tracks. Users upload an initial song sketch or track, and within minutes, these virtual musicians analyze chords, scales, and structure to contribute seamlessly.
This ethical framework is central to our mission. Unlike platforms that generate music from scratch without human input, Aiode partners directly with musicians to embed their essence into our models. We use supervised machine learning with siloed data to ensure privacy and authenticity, while providing artists insights into their own styles. Crucially, we share revenue with musicians whenever their virtual representations are used, fostering passive income and global discovery. This model not only respects intellectual property but also enables cross-cultural collaborations, making Aiode a tool that amplifies talent rather than diminishing it.
Our selection by TheMarker comes at an exciting time for Aiode. With a dedicated team of 15 and $5.5 million raised from investors including Horizon Capital, Atooro, Regah, and Mindset MusicTech, we’ve achieved significant milestones. We were honored to join Abbey Road REDD, Europe’s premier music tech incubator, and the AI For Music initiative to promote responsible AI practices. Recently, we launched Beta 2.0, introducing enhanced virtual studio management for takes and regions, along with Generate Mode for “inpainting” music, reconstructing or enhancing audio segments with precision.
Aiode’s win in the Music Ally SI:X contest earlier this year, where we were chosen from numerous finalists in the audio and music tech category, further validates our vision. We’ll be presenting at the Music Ally Connect conference in January, showcasing how our platform bridges AI efficiency with genuine artistry.
As we continue to innovate, Aiode remains committed to a future where technology serves creators. This feature in TheMarker is a testament to the impact of our approach, and we’re grateful for the recognition.
